T66 ALIVE!!! *drowned in the washing machine*

I had accidentally washed my T66 with all my laundry today! And i didn't realize it till bout 4 hours later, when i tried to power it up, hey, who knows, its 'dead' so well, i had to change to one of my other phones, T68, and left for dinner, went back and when i tried to power it, hey, what ya know, it powered up! The only thing which is gone is the time and date, phone memory intact, everything is fine! I tried to charge it, its fine! Hey what ya know, this phone is water resistant! *and i won't be responsible for any of your action to your phones, this is strictly done to my phone*

Yes, this can be done on many new technology items (even your notebook computer). The most important thing to remember is that make sure your hardware is dried before you turn it on. The worst thing could happen is if you short the circuits. And of course, T66 has to with stand the physical impact in your washer.
Life is short, just do it!

lol..do you guys really just leave a cell phone and not remember to take it out? the first thing i do when i get in to the house is empty my pockets and put it on the desk..so my phone in the laundry is never going to happen I wonder my future V66 SE can do that...

Hey, wasn't there another thread about leaving a phone in the washing machine?

My Bluetooth headset almost went through the wash this morning. Luckily I dig through the hamper to retrieved it before my shirt was put into the wash.

Just one question... this happen before you do your business or after? If it is after, you could keep that phone!

Well, actually, it fell into my business...#2 style! The LCD is broken, so I have to replace it. It was actually really sick up until I soaked everything in denatured alcohol.

Yeah, you wouldn't want the buyer to complain about crappy reception

T66 is so small that you didn't even know it was in your pocket? Hehe. By the way, I dropped my T68 fully into a cup of water (I thought it was my cell phone holder while asleep), I put it near the heater and after 30 hours I turned it on again and it worked perfectly and nothing got lost. Samething happened to my friend's T28. Ericsson....
