My P900 no longer hangs when I press "1" more than 3 times consecutively in T9 mode during SMS (well... hope u guys know what I'm talking about)
Guess it's a bug fixed for me then

    Any other differences discovered?

The air has been heavy in Studio City. R2C01 is *newer* than R3B01? I'm working on this.

Sorry neighbor. Wonder what my morning coffee had in it?

OK, this update is newer on the organizer and CDA. What difference it all makes remains to be seen.

There is another thread on this issue now also.

Sorry. Forgot myself for a second. I'll blame it on the magic coffee (my contemporaries from the 60s will know what I am talking about).

This new update seems to have broken Mac iSync. I can no longer sync my P900 with my Mac!

BTW, does anyone know what's in this release?

You may have gotten one of the grey market P900's. One of the ones allocated for China. They have no international warranty.

Grrrr... Anyone know how to get the FULL English version onto this P900? I'm stuck with Traditional Chinese T9, Chinese Keyboard, and Chinese symbols mixed in with my English Menus.... it's irking I tell ya. The unit itself is still very usable... but it just bothers the hell outta me.

The R stands for revision so 1-2-3 etc... is the sequence of updates for the specific system firmware.

Still to find any new features although i'd imagine Bluetooth problems could have been fixed.

Update worked perfect the first time. Actual file download took less than a minute, update thru reboot took another 21 minutes - 22 minutes total. Acceptable!

My experience was similar to BVH. No problems. However, not sure what the benefit of the FW upgrade was either. My ex was still able to get through on my cellphone so that bug hasn't been resolved yet

Do what I do and assign the Ex a ringtone like the Imperial March from Star Wars that way you know if you want to answer or not

The P900's included 'Suspense' ringtone serves well for this purpose as well.

Wonderful suggestion Thanks to you (and Phnarr). Or perhaps there is a sound file for tht country song "I still miss my ex -- but my aim is getting better."

Anyway, that problem solved! Now I wonder what improvements if any came of the firmware upgrade.
