t226 cam

i just got a brand new t226 out of the box with a cam also new. the first time i plugged it in it saw it fine but the quality of the picture was ooo awefull!! is this all the t226 can do? it looked soo bad all pixelated. is that normal? it takes like 3-4 times for the cam to be reconized now. i cleaned the contacts and finially gave up thinking it just sucked cuz its cheaper than most camera phones.. then i uploaded some pictures to the phone and when i looked at them i thought ok this phone has to be able to do more than this pixelated image. my t720 has suuuch good quality from puter to phone with no loss why is this t226 soo much different? maybe i just have a bogus phone or is she putting out all she's got? thanks a lot

It will take pretty good pictures if you configure the camera properly. Make sure your image size is set to the largest possible.

its set up right its right out of the box and ive tried all the settings if i could finda way to send the pic to the puter i would show ya how bad it is. where can i find a basic picture of what the phone can do or a way to send from phone to puter with data cable i can send them to the phone all day long just not the other way. the pictures are really bad!

my friend has that communicam for his t316. its not the camera thats bad, its just that the res of the cell phone. Thats all it can support. His was 256 colors I think. He uploaded the pic from his cell to my cell thru IR (I got a t616.) Picutre was decent enough.

the reason it looks bad on the phone,is because it can only display up to 512 colors. Once you upload it to the computer,it will look wonders better

ok ill try that soooo. i have the data cable but i dont see how to move stuff from the phone to the computer i can move anything i want TO the phone how do i go the other way? thanks

Well.........thats the problem with the dat a cable,you can only move data to the phone, sorry . And since the t226 dosen't have IrDa,you'll have to email it to your computer

im getting a 3650 how is the picture quality on that one? my friend has a vx6000 and the picture is soooo good i want one of those is the 3650 about the same? cuz it had the same res. but i dont know about the color i need a website that tells what colors they can do so i dont get another one disapoints me heh.

I had a 3650 and the screen is really nice. It would be a HUGE improvement from the t226. I havent had a vx600,so i cant tell you if its better,or not as good. The 3650 uses a 4096 color screen. It is not the most colors but it looks really good because it uses a TFD screen. But of course the t610 screen would be a improvement over the t226 alos
