dude if you just got your liscense LEARN HOW TO DRIVE. the fact that you hit 100 mph in a 35 is just stupid. ive driven fast, very very fast (see earlier posts) but with some degree of caution and thought b4 i went and did it.

if you get in an accident 2 weeks into your license, you have problems, which sould send signals in your head not to drive at 100 mph.

anywho, so far most of the posts have been speed, with a degree of caution, and a degree of safety ie:2am no one on road, dry, etc. and MOST people have a good record.

i dont want to rag, but for your sake, be carefull it does not sound like you are capable of 60mph let alone 100mph i could care less about others, but ur gonna get killed.

i could be all wrong, and you could have done it at 2am and it was all good so im sorry if i mis judged.

going fast is freking fun, onyl why you know your going to come out to do it again next time 20mph faster

i agree.. safety is first... if you do go over the speed limit... always remember people around could get hurt if you get careless..

anyways.. nobody has really answered one of my questions but...

is there a race track i can join on speed around in the gta area?

i really love speed... but would rather do it on a track .....

anybody got any idea?

I've had my full sized dodge van up to 225Km/h - this was on the 403 at 5 in the morning on tuesday - had to use the tach and the gear ratio with a calculator to get the actual speed as the stock speedo stops at 180

The other time I've gone faster was on a motorcycle (on the 403 again) and I hit 245 - thats such a trip - so peacefull at that speed

hey i have a question for you.. i drive a talon... but sometimes i have trouble getting it to 200km quick enuff... i switch gears at around 5000-6000 rpm... is that too low? or should i go higher?

well. in canada.. new cars have a speed limit of 180 kmph... i think that 100 mph..

dont know about the states.. if the limit in the states is 155mph.. thats prob why my talon can go past 180kmph.. since this car was purchased from the states..

past 180km?? if yours is a TSI you can reach 220km easyily, on the canadian vechicles you can have the speed limiter removed.
