Note: The main change customers who had the old T-Zones or T-Mobile Internet plans will see is the MMS bucket. It will be billed per event instead of being counted towards MB usage

Thank you very much for this post. I am planning on porting from NEXTEL (sucks) to T-Mobile in February when my contract finally ends. I have been looking at the plans and was confused about the different plans I saw on the Tmo website and those I heard about here in the forums. Great information! You da man!

A good move if you ask me. I ported from nextel in november, and brought my wife along to t-mo in December(the DAY after her nextel contract was up)

I'm not sure how definitive this is. I had the unlimited Internet plan well before they changed their pricing structure. I get charged for MMS messages starting from message one, not 11.

I've logged a cumulative 3 hours complaining. I started with CS, then they sent me to the data group. All said the same thing: no included MMS messages in the unlimited plan.

So, I called the corporate office to complain that they made a change, didn't tell me about it, but started charging me for MMS use. They were sympathetic but unyielding.

hmm i'll take a look at this tomorrow then b/c that is directly from the information i got from corporate, pretty tmobile logo and everything, i'll see if i cant clear this up cuz thats pretty annoying having wrong information

I just got a letter in the mail confirming the original post. I had 2.99 Tzones, for 1 MB, now changed to unlimited, 300 MMS, and 30 SMS.

Okay, now I'm confused. I currently have Sprint which I'm looking to dump and am considering T-Mobile. However, I currently pay Sprint $5 a month for Internet access which allows me to get to my work e-mail system via WAP. We use Novell GroupWise which provides WAP capability. What I'm trying to figure out is what T-Zones service I need with T-Mobile to access my work e-mail. The first post says this:

What does this mean? Can I still change my homepage to something else? And won't I be able to see my email through the email provider's website? Like sms.yahoo.com (or whateve the site is). And AIM, how does that work in TMobile? Do I have to get a bigger plan or is it considered text messaging? TIA :-D Im thinking of switching over to TMobile now that I have a bluetooth palm pilot (Sony Clie UX50)
