First, an Internet Account needs to be created
From the Main menu, Select the :: icon (Looks like four dots in a
square)
Next scroll down and Select Tools then Select Control Panel
Select Connections then Select Internet Accounts
Tap the New button
Give the account a name, and choose either GPRS or Dial-up (CSD)
Then Tap on the Advanced button
- For GPRS, the page that comes up will have User name, Password, and Address fields
Enter the User name (Leave Blank), Password (Leave Blank) and APN
(wap.voicestream.com) in the Address field, and Tap on Done
- For CSD, the page that comes up will have User name, Password, and Dial-up Number fields
Enter the User name (WAP), Password (Leave Blank), and Dial-up Number (+19132440821), and Tap on Done
A GPRS account has an icon that looks like a globe, and a CSD account has the globe icon with a picture of a handset.
After creating the Internet account, you will need to create a WAP Account
From the Main menu, Select the :: icon (Looks like four dots in a
square)
Next scroll down and Select Tools then Select Control Panel
Select WAP Accounts
Tap on the New button
Give the account a name, and Select which Internet account you would like to use from the drop down menu
In the Proxy field, enter the Proxy IP address (216.155.165.050)
Tap on Done
Your WAP Account will now be listed
Next, the homepage can be changed if desired:
Tap on Main Menu, Internet
Tap Edit, Preferences
Tap Homepage Location
Enter wap.myvoicestream.com
