    Free WAP allowed ports

I haven't been able to try every port for a connection, but here's what I have found:

Allowed ports (to my home DSL):
    25 - SMTP *smtp/mail*
    80 - HTTP *www/http* "WorldWideWeb HTTP"
    110 - POP3 *pop3/pop-3* "POP version 3"
    143 - IMAP *imap2/imap* "Interim Mail Access P 2 and 4"
465 - Secure SMTP *ssmtp/smtps* "SMTP over SSL"
993 - Secure IMAP *imaps* "IMAP over SSL"
    995 - Secure POP3 *pop3s* "POP-3 over SSL"

The following ports DO NOT work:
    1
    22 (ssh)
    109 (pop2)
    220 (imap3)
    1080 (socks)
    8080 (http proxy)
    49152 (various use)
    2948/2949 (WAP push)
4035/4036 (something WAP or MMS related)
    9200-9209 (WAP + related services)
    65535

Any other ports I have not tested personally, but they still may work -- however, I doubt they have much more unfiltered...

They don't seem to allow access to the WAP gateway ports anymore --- so you're stuck with T-Mo's WAP gateway, unless you have access to one running on another port.

Personally, I'm going to run my proxies on 465, 993, and 995. No, you can't use them (if you want to ask). Most webservers use 25, 80, 110, and 143 nowadays --- and some use the other three SSL ports. My webserver does, but my home server doesn't...

Either your VERY rich to send 100 dollars for a easy port scan, your using sarcasm, or you've gone insane.

Might not help with your phone, but if you are connecting with a laptop, you might want to look at this thread.

Anyone know if port 2525 is available with basic T-zones or free wap?

I signed up to access my AOL email through the POP3 server at www.izymail.com and it says they use port 2525 for outgoing mail instead of the normal port 25. Incoming is still at port 110.

I have to configure my Nokia phone and see if it works.

The Free WAP plan hasn't worked in years. The closest your gonna get is using the $5.99 T-Zones plan with the epc APN
