Moto V500/525: Flash to V600

Has anyone done the combined flash/flex (the one hosted here) on a V500 Orange (UK)? Some people in other threads have said that there's a problem with this file and subsidy locks. They get error messages after flashing, but no one says if there are bugs or functionality problems.

It's supposed to be faster and have better battery life on the V300 - any comments from V500 users?

I don't know why the motclub admin has this flash under v500. Its an v600 firmware, after flashing you have the video funktion.

You can get the universal USB Motorola driver here:

From first glances it looks like only the flex versions are different but would be interested to know what the changes are.

Also, what are the differences between language pack 0037 and 0039?

Hi Vinnie,

I think de difference between this two fullflash is the first is unbranded (…_A_…) and his flex is for the V600; the second is personalized by Vodafone (…_VA_…) and about the flex, I don’t know if it is for the V500/V525 or V600, but (I think) is newer. I can’t load them in my phone, because I don’t have the cable – in my country is hard to find it.
About the language pack, the 0039 contain UK English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Turkish and Portuguese; the 0037 contain UK English, German, Dutch, Polish, Hungarian, Czech and Croatian.
