the advantage of GSM is that you CANNOT CLONE, therefore no one else can clone your phone either.

oneliner service is hard to find anymore, i don't know if gsm is even capable of supporting it. don't get your hopes up, i haven't seen it offered in a long time.

Get a prepaid SIM Card for your second phone...that way you can use both phones at the same time...if that's what you wanted to do...

If you are familiar with smartcard programmers you will have an idea that it is very possible to clone a SIM.

it cannot clone your SIM but it can put more than just one number (up to 8 i've seen so far) on one SIM chip. once again, there is no way to clone GSM SIM, and thats one of the reasons why ppl prefer to use GSM.

Yes it is possible to have two TDMA phones with the same number but the carrier would have to support it in its system. Otherwise no.

I have two SIM cards that use the same phone number with Swisscom, so it is possible.
