btw, the SMS tells you how many messages you have waiting. the indicator only says you have a message, not how many though.

I believe they also have customer service in Tampa, FL as well. They inherited it from Aerial Communications. My T-Mobile bill has a return address of Tampa, FL as I think anyone in FL that lives in a former Aerial market also gets their bill with a return address of Tampa, FL.Originally posted by littlefuzzbear
I have no idea why an 813 fax number is used. Yes, that is the Tampa, FL area. AFAIK T-Mobile customer care is in ABQ, NM and the corporate office is in Bellevue, WA. I've always used the ABQ fax number when I needed to contact T-Mobile unless I feel I need to send something to the corporate office in Bellevue.
As for the topic of this original post...I too can live without MWI...it doesn't bother me either way, nor has it ever bothered me that I get an SMS instead of the MWI on the phone.
OK we get the idea that some of you are fine with the text message notification, and you think we are stupid for pushing the MWI...move on...please!
How long must we dwell on this? We're obviously not going to agree on this issue, and your comments are obviously not going to make us stop pushing for the MWI. So why not just leave us alone?
Sometimes I feel like I'm in Jr. High all over again on these boards.
Hey, if you don't like the heat get out of the kitchen. The topic was brought up and some of us really think that a MWI is important and others of us don't think it's a big deal. That's what discussion boards are about. If you wanted a place where everyone would have the same opinion you picked the wrong place. You ask: How long must we dwell on this? Probably as long as both sides have a difference of opinion on the matter. So, you're really naďve if you think we're going to let you go on and on about the necessity of having it your way and not allow people who have a dissenting opinion on the matter to have their say.Originally posted by pimpdaddde

Any postings pertaining to how bad Nextel customer service is would belong in the Nextel forum and not on the T-Mobile forum, right? Well, the title of this thread reads "Join us to fix Voicemail Notification" -- this means that any post or response not related to implementing MWI should be deemed "off-topic" and simply doesn't belong here. If the thread was titled "What do you think about MWI vs. SMS notifications" then you could post away supporting either one.
Simple forum rules, probably the same you use to moderate your yahoo group, no?

yea, well the majority of recent posts are almost wholly against MWI implementation or the movement to add support for reasons stated above... interesting that those that supposedly have no interest in this feature are the ones posting like banshees on a thread titled "Join Us...Group Effort...Support Requested"Originally posted by littlefuzzbear

As stated above, this topic will be debatable forever... it's a complete preference thing... technically there isn't anything left that hasn't been brought up & discussed, both systems do the same in the end... deliver a simple notification.
And if the end result of this initiative goes as planned in that we give people a choice, isn't everyone happy?
Who loses if the SMS stays and we give folks an option to activate an MWI?

You don't make any sense at all. Since the topic is or has been the MWI that's what's been discussed. Someone was complaining that they didn't like all the dissenting opinion that some people don't think it's a problem. How you think that's off topic is indeed a mystery.Originally posted by twin720s

Hi. Here in the uk t mobile has the mwi on, i get it on my phones and have done since 1999. I think this is a good vantage point so say how comes the UK get the service and the US dont? I think this is really out of order to you guys in the US and i will pay the international rate for you on the fax. Make it count![]()

yea well t-mobile in UK also has the p900 and whole lot of other phones the US might not ever see on any provider. IMO, that is worth 3032847320473205743209572034732084 times more than measely MWI.
Umm...the purpose for creating this thread was to recruit people who want to change voicemail notification from SMS to MWI, not to discuss which one people prefer.Originally posted by littlefuzzbear

If you don't want notification to change, then this thread isn't for you. This thread was not created to share opinions about that issue. However, if you'd like to discuss the issue, just let me know; I'll be glad to start a new thread asking people to discuss their opinion on which type of notification is better.![]()
