Question T-Mobile & Metro PCS text message issues?

Just curious if anyone has had any issues with receiving text messages on T-Mobile from Metro PCS phones. I can send text messages to my friend with Metro PCS, but I can't receive them when she sends them back. I have no issues with sending and receiving from Cingular, Verizon, Sprint, and other providers. Anyone else with this issue?

I've called both providers and they each point the finger at the other.

A while back that happened with Cricket Communications phones. It's an issue with Metro PCS' system, not with T-Mobile. The person sending the messages needs to contact Metro PCS.

Southern Linc used to not allow incoming calls from the new 478 prefixes until their customers complained. It's usually the little company's fault for not keeping up with things.

For me, the problem is usually that the messages are delayed - by a few minutes or a few hours. I only text message one MetroPCS customer so I'm not sure if it's just him or if I'd have the same problem texting another MetroPCS customer. He's getting T-Mo soon so that won't be a problem
