Does the firmware limits what capacity MMC that can be recognized by the phone?

Specifically for 6620 firmware 2.14

I notice almost all post shows phone and MMC. Nothing mentioned about firmware. Thanks.

Does anyone know of any 2GB MMC's that work in the 6600/6620, I want to buy the phone so I can drop 2GB in it.
