    I95 iden 800/900?

Is the I95 able to operate in the new iden 900 Mhz spectrum? The I30 is dualband, and from my understanding every iden phone built after was going to be too. Mabye the 900 MHz band is not going to pan out for iden?

Dual band iDEN? I've never heard of this. There are region based models which support the other iDEN bands (900MHz and 1.5 Ghz) but those frequencies are not used in the north american system.

I think the "dual banded" idea is to permit it to operate in some of the non North American markets operating at 900MHz.

True but I have been informed that Nextel has aquired spectrum at 896-901 MHz/Rx 935-940 MHz. This new spectrum was for major cities for future use. The i30 specs include.

    Dual band: 800/900
    Frequency Range:
    800-Tx 806-825 MHz/Rx 851-870 MHz
    900-Tx 896-901 MHz/Rx 935-940 MHz

Since the i30 was produced after the i90 I figured that everything after the i30 would be dualband too. Now that the i95 is out and not dualband I wonder if the new spectrum is still happening or the I95 is a clone of thr i90 with a new display.

Not simply a clone... lots of other little features added too.
