i don't have time to read this whole thread so i'm probably repeating someone.

anyway, another great feature of Extended Profiles is it allows you to change the alarm tone of the alarm clock and calendar alarms. I couldn't stand the default tone so I found this to be a really nice feature. Only weird thing is you can't use a WAV, only MIDI.

Regarding the pExtender...after you install the app and unlock the colors red, pink and orange you can dump, erase, remove the app and the colors will stay unlocked in your phone!! Hope this helps ^_^
    I Love my N3650 too!!

How come I can change my color scheme without installing any extra applications? Is it because my 3650 is bought originally from NOkia and not thru any service provider?

Task Manager-Works pretty much like the Windows version. It lets you kill task that you no longer need. Sometimes with N3650 won't let you know what is running and you need this to kill the apps and free memory. Must have.

Space Doubler- Auto compress and decompresses your programs that you do not need. This is a good one. It does slow down your app load time.

Torch - Turns your N3650 to be a flashlight. kinda cool

Doris - Replaces your existing browser that lets you browse html pags

Netfront- HUGE! Man.. this thing uses a lot of memory

Photographer -This program lets you zoom. It is not a optical zoom. It a digital zoom. So the zoom just make the image a little more blurry. You can't shortcut to this program.

CameraFX- Lets you zoom and put mask on your picture. I don't like it because you can't save pictures to MMC.

    Bitstorm-Arcaniod

    Wilpalm stack up -Tetris

    Triple Pop -Booble bubble.

    Anyone want these software?

the Torch application is good for those who don't mind using battery power and want their backlight on all the time.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

ok.... let's recap, pple..... this is a great thread (and imho deserved sticky), most of the apps in my phone are there because of this thread.... so let's keep on reviewing....

and please keep the requests of apps at minimal.... like mentioned before.... try yahoo groups... if still can't find it/them then try pm the member... don't just get in the way here and ruin good thread like this....

recap, so far we have the (in some depth) reviews for:

    photographer
    seleQ and FExplorer
    irRemote
    Dope Wars
    netfront
    cocktail
    handycar
    handy dates
    handy shopper
    space doubler
    camcorder
    SmartLauncher
    Taskmanager
    Extended Profiles
    SWAT
    Mobile Assist
    handy safe
    pExtender
    miniGPS
    Handy Clock
    Torch
    CameraFX

so that u know u can read back to find out about them and not asking/reviewing again, (i don't understand why don't pple read back in threads??) but feel free to add your comments on what's not mentioned...

    -------------------------------------------

for me about SeleQ... i just hate one thing that u can't do "mark all" like in the nokia image(or others) ....to copy/cut all, u need to mark each one manually

    other apps i have are:

Handy Expense: it allows u to keep track of the expenses u have.... it records date, catagory, and amount.... the main catagories are pre-defined (such as lunch, dinner, gas, grocery, etc) but surely u can add more of your own..... and it can report to u the total of each catagory for each month

too bad it can't act as a check book and the app should be linked to handycar.... cuz when i fill my car up, i need to put the amount in both app

Rayman Golf: it's an ok game [imho] but many say it's one of the best games u can have on your phone....

    see captured pic here: http://my-symbian.com/7650/applicati...Auto=196&faq=2

it's like most of the old days golf game.... click to choose club, power, and accuracy

Triple Pop: Nokia's game, can be download at nokia's site... ...it's like tetris in a circle where u move the center of the circle to catch the incoming balls of colors... getting the 3 of the same color will change itself to score

Bounce: a must have game.... again from nokia... u control a bouncing ball in each lvl to the end across obsticles without popping it.... most pple have this game, what more do i need to say...

ChessGenius: the best chess games i ever find for my 3650... nice color with different lvl, view, board size.... one of the best looking as well as the AI u can play w/

CellMill: based on Merrelles, Mills, Merels, Nine Men's Morris board game.... ....interesting game, easy to learn but yet require some brain work... ...the point of the game is to get your pieces in a straight line of 3 and then u'll be able to take one of the opponent pieces... the player who has 2 pieces left, loses(obviously 2 cannot form line of 3, so there's no point in playing = end game) ....the game can be played by BT w/ your friend

that's all i have for now.... i tried to install some more games yesterday but they are all crap.... some work and some didn't....

    let's see what other games/apps u guys find good/interesting

Well this isn't in regards to apps but games that I have recently installed on my 3650... I thought I'd give you all my thoughts on them:

Marcel Desailly Pro Soccer: Intalled easily no problems or fone crashes. It's not one of those games that you have to save on the fone memory you can save on the mmc and it works great.
I compared it to FIFA 2003 and between the two I prefer this one. It's alot more fun, much easier to play to than FIFA and more teams to choose from aswell. A great soccer game for anyone!!

Tiger Woods PGA Golf Tour: if you are a golf fan or a Rayman Golf fan that you'll love this game. It's easy to install there are no fone crashes. You can just practise, compete or play a full course on your own. Rayman Golf is like mini golf compared to this game... it's alot more realistic. Perfect game for the golf lover.

Speed Devils: Reminds me of a game I used to play as a kid in the arcades... once again a fun game that's easy to install with no errors. Basically you try to beat the clock by reaching various check points and finishing 3 laps. Everytime you do that you unlock a new course that you can drive. There are little goodies you can pick up along the way like turbo boosts and missiles to shoot cars in your way. A fun race game. Not like GT racer where you are just racing other cars and thats it.

New Skool Skater: This game also remind me of a few games I grew up playing in the arcades when I was a kid. Easy installation with no errors. I had a good time playing this game. Basically on your skate board you are collecting coins/points, there are half pipes, little creatures you have to jump over and/or shoot. It's just a fun game definately worth checking out.

Com2Us Bowling: Well what can I say... if you've ever owned a Samsung S100/105 you know this game. It's a simple bowling game (much better looking on the 3650 then the Samsung I must admit) Very easy to play and alot of fun. Easy on the install and again no errors.

Mid Pacman: What's to say... it's classic pacman. A blast from the past. If you're a fan definately get it. I had no problems installing it and no crashes either.

Moto Racer: I had no luck getting this game to install so that's all I can say about it... but if anyone has been able to install it successfully pls share your thoughts on it.

As you can see I've done my share of gaming recently... hope to install some new apps soon. Once I do I'll post my take on them. Until then see ya in the forums.

    hey guys,

you guys make me feel so left out, i bought the nokia 3650 a few days ago and i haven't even done an ounce of what you guys have done. in fact, i haven't even downloaded any ringtones or anything.

is there any page or even thread on this site that can get me caught up with ,not just applications, but everything, including links to sites where i can get the coolest stuff for this phone?

i'm really uneducated on cellphone technology but am interested in learning more.

    Beer Engine

A definate must for the beer lover. It's got a great list of beers aswell as other drinks. If you have used the coctail app then you'll like this app. Beer engine also gives you info on the the drinks alcohol content and if you want to you can also track how much you drink over various time periods.

Anyone who enjoys a good drink or would like a menu of various drinks on their mobile so they have an idea what they want when they head out or just so they know what's in a certain drink then Beer Engine & Coctail are a good combination of apps to have.

I'm going to be wanting an app that I can store info in, such as all my passwords, and that will encrypt and lock the info. Is Handy Safe good for something like that, or is that just geared more towards credit card info?
