Is the S40 Good or Crappy

I need to buy a back up phone. I have been looking around and there are a lot of choices. Everywhere I go I can seem to find S40s at a real chepa price. Why is this. I mean it is a triband phone and most triband phones go for at least $200. LVwireless is selling them for $135 and I think that it is pretty cheap. Is it any good?

If you look back at the Usenet trafic when the S40 was introduced, there was a serious flaw in the early software. You need to make sure that the phone you buy has at least rev 5.XX of the software.

So where can you buy the S40 "cheapo" and exactly how much is that in dollars?
