I'm getting the same thing - I'm in Sea/Tac WA.

    So why is

    Included WAP Access Free

still listed on the My Account page of My T-Mobile??

Do I need to put something in here?

Hey all, Im back, Well my EARLIER posts regarding this told you of a new upcoming change in how TMO gave out its service to customers as well as the ability to sign up for service via their phones as well as content.

I also stated that although it might be free then/now they may change it. Also that if you wanted ANY TMO Support for WAP or Data, you would need to pay for it.

Granted.. I will admit, im not 100% sure about whats going on now, but I do see that on the accounts, CAM, I see it say "Included WAP Access" so I know even if you dont pay for tzones, you have Included WAP Access.. Sooo I cant 100% say what is up, I also know they started changing their config for the phones to where its locked settings.

Another note, I also noticed that all the ports have been unblocked now. Havent had a issue since. Maybe this new change is the reason. Which makes me happy.. but I know you free users it wouldnt. =P

But yes, EasySpeak will be allowed FREE WAP. All you need to do is dial *easy and tell customer care you have a Wap able phone and to please enable it.

As for everyone else.. if you got it free.. good luck, dont know how long it lasts, CSD will always be free which might be what that "Included WAP Access" is about, however that will use your mins as well as be slower.

But for 100% service.. just chaulk up 5$ and get support and more. =P

Ill post more later when I find out. =)

    WAP IS NOT FREE ANYMORE

    Before you scream at me

I have been using the WAP on my T-Mobile without paying the $4.99 with no problem but today when I went on to the internet via my tmobile phone I got this message.

"Sign up for unlimited internet browsing, email, news, personalized information and on-line games for $4.99 a month. Please Visit www.t-mobile.com log in to My T-Mobile and select my plan & services to add Unlimited t-Zones to your account."

Everyone, WAP servers and tzones is a global affect, if you dont have it, most likely no one will. The only ones who do are ones who did not catch the server updates yet.

But yes.. 4.99 is the price. But seems they unlock ALL ports now, so the programs like AgileMessanger would work 100% as well as other tools. =)

Gonna try the FTP one later ^^

    is there anyway around this

    the way I see it

the free internet service is the reason why I signed up for Tmobile isn't it in our contract, we should all call up and complain.

Well its NOT in your contract, WAP Access is in your plan, which like I said, could cover CSD access which means its slower and uses your mins vs that of GRPS coverage and service which EVERY plan and book tells you that for internet its 5$ a month.

However.. I think on some threads there was talks about Free Wap tunnels. I know a friend of mine on verizion used it and it worked, I couldnt get it to work on my 3650 tho. =/

    Class action lawsuit

Class action lawsuit would be more like it...

Thing is the feature WAS active during the 14 day buyers remorse period and was a deciding factor for allot of people..

It could be argued it was not part of the plan, etc.. But Wap access was directly accessible WIHOUT hacking ANY passwords, or users accounts. Because of such, even if it was a screw up on T-Mobile’s part (not locking it down to begin with) it by default legally becomes part of the plan.

See my previous posts for more info.

I say (and think it’s fair) that anyone that has had the FREE Wap access during the 14 day buyers remorse period should be GRANDFATHERED in. New accounts of course would be locked down from day one… as accessing WAP would require HACKING into the system.

Remember were talking about accessing a feature WITHOUT hacking ANY passwords, or user accounts to gain access… and IF those features were accessible during the 14 buyers remorse period they should be considered part of the plan, whether it was officially part of the plan or not. The fact the plans say FREE WAP ACCESS included.. And Phone browser enabled (or some such wording) would leave any Judge with half a brain that is NOT in T-Mobile’s “pocket” to legal rule that any such persons that had the feature should be GRANDFATHERED in for as long as they keep their account.

    I say….

    Class action lawsuit
