    ****CSD setup not working!*** please help

    hello everyone:

    I followed the directions listed below from another thread....but my unbranded unlocked v600 will not connect.....

    in another thread, i read that there are some additional codes??? for CSD...does anyone know if that's true.....if not, what am i doing wrong?

    Ok, starting with a new Web Session:


    Name: can be anything, I used "CSD"

    Domain 1: leave blank

    Service Type 1: WAP

    Gateway IP 2: 000.000.000.....

    Port 2: 9201

    I'm assuming you called up CS and had them add it to your account. If not call them up and have them add it somehow, they couldn't on mine since it's phased out or something

    phased out

    when i activated the phone they told me that basic wireless internet service, not wix, was included....


    is that what you mean?

    I think they had it backwards. GPRS pay-per-use is available automatically but I think if you want CSD, CS has to add something. I can get GPRS to work on my phone, but not CSD and when I asked CS to add pay-per-use GPRS, they said it was already added (but it doesn't show up on the account manager online).
