Sure, just pop in a sim card and away you go. I'm not sure about US coverage/service, but a 1900 GSM phone is a 1900 GSM phone, if you want to use it go nuts!

I don't want to throw my nokia 6190 away. Can I still get service plans for this phone? It is GSM 1900. Also, which company provides the best signal reception in Long Beach, CA area? Thanks!

I suggest regeneration. A simple cortical implant is all that is required.
Hippo Girl! I want this for Christmas please someone
I have a king sized bed. I don't know any kings, but if one came over I guess he would be comfortable
Well, almost... it may need to be unlocked if it's being used on a different provider than whichever one it was originally purchased from.
Thanks a lot for the quick responses!
One more question: Since I have my own cell phone, I think I don't need to sign a contract with my carrier when purchasing only plans, right? (I am not talking about pre-paid plans, but I am considering it)
Right, the only thing signing a contract does for you is gets you a deal on the phone, and guarantees the price you have on your plan for the length of your contract. The only catch would be that if you are signing up on a promotional plan they may require a contract to be signed.
