You can't defragment the MMC...because the phone doesn't have any software on it capable of doing so. I tried defragmenting the MMC that came with my 6230 using pc running windows xp and card reader. Got that error. Btw does anyone know the manufacturer of the mmc cards that comes with nokia phones?

hi, i have a question. it's a pretty generic question...when transfering mp3's via bluetooth to my 6230, it always uses my phone memory first [making sure it fits the capacity] before i can direct it to save on my mmc. is there anyway to have it automatically directed to the mmc, that way i don't always have to make sure whether or not the size of the file will fit in my phone memory.

Hi guys. I have a Cingular 6230b and have heard that there has been a recall on the phone. Does anyone have any info or a link to a thread on this discussion? I tried searching myself but have come up empty. Thanks.

    changing language

does anybody know how to change the language on the nokia 6230 to french. I'd be happy to load a predictive text file that changes the phone to french predictive texting.

In settings-languages it doesn't offer french as an option.

I bought the phone in australia (i'm australian) and i'm now living in switzerland.

Has anyone any ideas, because it's really annoying to have to keep typing without the predictive text.

    thanks in advance

    Trent

Now when i go to gallery and click on the card option it takes about 1 minute to go into the memory card, then when i choose a file to play it takes 15 seconds to play that file also. Anybody got any idea regarding this problem, help appreciated very much.
Compare your 6230 with Nokia 6230i, with 1.3 mega pixel camera, MP3 player, FM radio, and 1 hour of video recording.

And I want 2 add up another possibility:
Make sure your 6230 got enough memory space!I mean you should set some remanent memory space 2 keep your phone work normally and fleetly!
    That's my personal idea!
