    Pro EDGE results! Even more so, becuase it looks like your test result is still falling short of average for EDGE tests!

    This kind of perf would be sweet for web browsing on a EDGE capable BlackBerry, if and when that comes out.

    As for the SE card that was used for your test, the only real selling point for tethering a PC to EDGE is that you can get online **anywhere** you get a GSM/EDGE signal. Right? Is there anything else? Performance by itself isn't great compared to wi-fi for instance (i see anywhere from 1 mbps to 2.5 mbps depending on the hotspot)

    I need to see this thing in action I guess.

    *just to specify:

    me, andyVX and TMG< yes TelusMobilityGuy(yes, from BC), were having dinner and playing with VX's laptop and EDGE card and got these results consistiently at Jack Astors's at 7 and leslie.

    i always wondered why people bothered with "lite" services.
    theyr'e slow like dial up and cost $10.00/mth more usually

    high speed light is only supposed to be 128 down 64 up
    ultra light = 64/64

    they're only meant as alternatives to dial up.
