Big Problem with T68i and HBH-20

I was in Dubai last week, and I managed to get my hands on a T68i w/HBH-20 and ICT-I3. Everything is great, and I'm enjoying it.

One big problem thought, it's with the voice dialling on the BT headseat. Sometimes, the names aren't recognized. But the number types (home/office...) never work. Like I say John, then it beeps, and I say home. Nothing happens.

Can anyone help me? The voice doesn't always work when I speak into the phone either, it's not as accurate as my T68m(i).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. What's a Bluetooth headseat without voice dialling?

did you make sure to record the original sounds in a really quiet environment? with no echoes etc.?

because once you've recorded those, voice-dialing on a busy street is possible too. it's just important that the first recording is perfect.

also, make sure you keep your voice steady. the phone doesn't know what you are saying, it's just comparing the sound-curve.

sorry if you already knew this and i did not help you at all, it's just what I think could be the problem since you said it works "sometimes".
    am i dumb because I want a smartphone ?

I had the problem too with just a headset! Got me sooo mad!

I just recorded the name a little..different. Instead of just saying 'home' accent the me hard. Just do something different if you repeatedly get errors.

My t68i is better with the phone, hardly any errors but the headset is still giving me problems.

Just to clarify this is a regular headset, not bluetooth.

Don't use single syllable words. Spell H-O-M-E instead of saying HOME. Of course you should record the original with the device you're going to voice dial.
