GUI for modifying seem file(no hex editing required)

hey everyone,

i've been working on a new version, except this time in wxWidgets(http://www.wxwindows.org). I'm gonna make the application get a list of all possible seem edits from an XML file probably, meaning you don't have to really edit any code to add new features! Here is a screenshot of the app partially working. At this stage i'm able to detect the phone, and download seems from it. I'm working on the upload seems part. But once this is completed, i'n the seem editor, you can just hit "load from phone", and it will get the seem off phone for you, and "save to phone" to save changes. This will make it seamless to update your phone. Here is a screenshot of my current progress:

ahhhh am i doing this right? I want to make it loader so i do the gin table then save it... Then go to the Motorla software program and try to send it it says file not supported then it says i need .bin code. What am i doing wrong? Sorry i am bad at this things...

I have been using this tool so far it is great!

I did not see anywhere in the program that will remove the moto startup/shutdown animations and sounds. Is it possible to do this? I saw a little info in this thread. But its not complete at the end of the tread he talks about some seems I havent found anywhere else.

I did use this tool to select custom startup animations and it adds them. But the moto animation still runs first on startup and last on shutdown. Plus the sound is still the moto startup/shutdown sound.

OK sorry to just dump this question into this thread but you all seem to have a pretty good idea what your talking bout! I'm new to this hexing stuff and i'm desperately tryin 2 get my phone to have more than 30+ texts storage! I went 2 change oufset 40 bit 6 but found it was already on phone storage so anyone got any ideas?

for some reason the lcd text display isn't working for me. weird.... =i

the GPRS did get removed though.

since I've tried out some unbranded flexes. Turn these off with offsets 1DH and 31H in SEEM 0032_0001. Look here: http://xlr8.us/hofo/map.txt for details.

ahh I hadent seen that list before. Thanks. Plus it shows how to enable custom startup/shutdown sounds. Which is the other item was looking for.

Thanks, hopefully now I can figure out how to do these. Been spoiled using that GUI seem editor.

Yeah, I'm drooling to try this on my E398 too! But I guess it will void the warranty. If I change the seems, then change it back when I need to go to the Motorola Service Centre, can it be detected by the service centre staff?
