Look numnut. If this board's members opens their big @$$ mouths, it will all be take away. Stop being dumb, if you want you can figure it out own your own. Why should I share. So it can be taken away? If any one gets free wap working again, keep your mouth shut.

The only people that switched were people that 'heard' of free WAP from sites like HowardForums.
I tought free wap was a great feature that put T-Mobile on top of all the wireless companies, even if it wasn't advertised. Then they took it away without warning, which now makes them like everyone else, with no advantage in prepaid service. That's why I'm thinking of switching to a company that has better rates. Don't get me wrong, I love T-Mobile and if I had a post-paid account I would be more than happy to pay the fee for WAP, but I don't have that option on prepaid and it seems like there's nothing special for the service anymore. I'm only 15 right now, and prepaid is the only option I have for wireless service, but if I ever decide to switch to a post-paid account, T-Mobile will be at the top of my list.

I feel what everyone is saying about losing free wap, but it's not that big of a deal!! 4.99 a month is not going to break my bank. I know the pre-paid users can't add it to their service, so why don't you activate a phone with only the unlimited internet service. I believe is $29 bucks a month but it will be a line that is under contract. You just won't have any voice minutes. If I was in the situation, I will just do something like that.

Most of the pre-paid users (like myself) are under the age of 18, and cannot sign contracts (or have a 100% stable jobs). Personally if I could, I would get a cheap $29.99 monthly plan and actually use a cell phone like it's meant to be. Since I can't, prepaid is the next best thing. But for $29.99, I might as well just go to Cingular or ATT prepaid and get charged by the KB.

not to be offensive, i guess, but this is stupid. who's to say some person from tmobile looks thoruhg every post on / in this forum and stuff. but yeah i mean if you guys can't get free GPRS/WAP working there has to be ways around it, i.e. WAPTunnel (if that still works), other free WAP gateways, maybe, ?, modifying WebSessions, etc. (if you can do the modification of WebSessions, or any of that other stuff. :P)
hmmm, right now, my GPRS/WAP/whatever seems to be working just fine. and rather fast too it seems. i'm in southern california on a motorola v300...
Wow I think all u people who complain are all incredibly big ****ers. T MOBILE OFFERS UNLIMITED WAP FOR ONLY 4.99. I really have no need for edge but the people who want/need it could have gotten it by now if people were paying for t zones, they would have put that money and invested in edge. I am actually surprised that all of u are ganna complain about t mo for 4.99 a month, if u don’t like it just go to cingular and att, and leave us t mobile people alone and stop whining so much.
