ok, fine. I'm sorry, i'm just kinda mad. T-mobile has always been the best in my area. so now I get to carry around my palm and my t68i to connect to the internet. Hopefully they don't change the t-zones port and block port 80 for prepaid customers.

Don't you think they have a right to complain? And no matter what your stance is on this.. i think most people will agree that this sucks. Some people are just better at moving on than others
The same amount of people that have called and have alledgedly been told that there is a such thing as free wap from tmobile from this magical tmobile cs fairies can be coutered by all the other people who have called Tmobile and have been told that there is NO such thing as free wap service and it is in fact a loophole.

I just have been counting down the days for when this was going to happen so I can laugh at all these people that are getting stressed out and bent all out of shape cause there precious so called "Free WAP" that was just loophole has been plugged/patched and they now have to pay for the service like everyone else.

Tmobile may have made some of its customers mad but actually performing a system upgrade/maitenence that fixed a major flaw in my eyes and to help improve service for the paying customers of gprs connectivity but ohh well. It is not like it was stated in a verbal or written contract that there is a such thing as Free GPRS service that gave you access to the internet to browse webpages and check email. It said included wap access that means you can use the wap browser to view whatever tmobile want to allow you to see with that protocol.
Note to self: Why don't you ever listen to me?

We the unwilling led by the unqualified for so long with so little we now attempt the impossible with nothing

uhh.. Wap was free until yesterday for a pretty long time.. This quote is just not true.. it should be Most things arent free. Or have you never received anything for free in your life? I sure have. Is a penny on the ground not free?

I think its funny that some people are whining about people whining.

Even if something is free, you'll end up paying for it later... like now, a lot of ppl have to pay for wap now. And a penny on the ground isn't free.. It's someone else's that had just fallen to the ground. Your gain, their loss.. there's always something to it.

I ain't whining. I'm just F&*^*%ing sick of people saying the same crap over and over. "Omg this sucks" "I hate T-Mobile now"
    etc. etc.

If this free wap was just a loophole.. why didn't they fix this right away? hmmm.. Maybe to attract more customers and then take it away later? Certainly a possibility and it sure looks like it to me.. not very ethical. I can guarantee that if T-Mobile wanted to fix this "loophole" right away, it would not take months.

    Give it away free
    Wait till folks get addicted
    Then start charging.

Sounds like an old business plan to me

Yes ma'am. Well here is something different:

TMO should make sure that they restore the service because they have the very best way of knowing that their stuff is broke: Come around and read the whining on HOFO!

Or they're busy helping ppl out (ie. customer service)

Otherwise, they're out spending some money (ie. the execs)

I don't know about you, but that sounds a like a little thing called bait and switch.. which is a little illegal in this country.

Sure it is possible but not very likely. And since having free wap and then taking it away after a while is a good strategy.. I am going to say that this was their original plan

I don't think we should start making assumptions without knowing what really happened. And that would only be disclosed prob w/ the top execs

Exactly.. they just won't get in trouble for it because it wasn't really advertised.. This doesn't change the fact that what they did is wrong
