uhhh it's not exactly bait & switch.

They never advertised FREE Unlimited, Unrestricted Wap.

They did advertise "free unlimited" access to a WAP frontend were you could purchase ring tones, wallpapers. Never did it include "free unlimited general wap access".

    loophole?

A loophole like this would not go unfixed for months. There's no explanation for not fixing it, and if CSRs were saying that it was free... then there's another problem.

oh well, Can someone tell me if the WAP settings can be changed on a branded SE T610?

Maybe just maybe the provider is having some network troubles. On 26 July there was a huge onslaught of a nasty windoze worm that even took down Google for a while. Why not chill for a day or two before you go mess up your settings? I trust your phone still works as a phone.

Oh and be nice to Tech88 he rulez!

As far as the CSD "workaround", when I try it, it keeps coming up "Invalid dial up number". What number should I use?

people gotta stop defining things on their own, almost everything in life you can manipulate into whatever you want it to mean. its retarded, and its like arguing with a kid, just dont do it.

free wap is gone, yes thats horrible. ill miss it, but im on a family plan and CSD count as my M2M minutes, so i still browse the same sites. those who have always wanted free wap to be gone..i dont really understand why you wish such a thing. it just happened to be free and we used it. would you wish everyone to just stop giving small change to homeless people? would that make your world so much better, you smile over other peoples misfortune.

im sick of seeing so many no more free wap threads, and im sick of seeing so many people ×××××ing on us for complaining..its just ridiculous.

hey guys, waptunnel still works!! you just need to use their new ip addy... and its actually pretty fast

(Note: for vXXX phones, put this ip in both Gateway IP 1 & 2, or you will get a "Browser Setup Incomplete" error)

    IP: 012.025.203.011
    Port: 9201

    Enjoy free wap once again!

i would've try bumming it off you, but you would probably just laugh and criticise

it shouldnt matter what i was comparing it to, i could have picked any subject and you would have still made the same comment, its just the principals.
