    Re: Sanyo SCP-5000: Canadian Availability

I have had the 5000 for about a month. Haven't had a lot of time to fool around with all the gadgets. The vibe ring is similar to a startac or timeport. The battery life is awful although I put a couple thousand minutes on my phones a month. I had much better batt life out of my Uproar which had a very tiny battery. The screen can be difficult to read at times. The earpiece volume isn't as loud as I would like it to be. Very solid phone, more like a startac

It's coming out in mid July for Telus for approx. $500 for the phone. The 6000 is coming out the same time.

    Sound quality?

How is it's sound quality? I could live with the small battery life... but sound quality I can not. The Sanyo 4000 and 4500 is rated poorly.

    Phone quality

    I had the 4000, i have the 4500, i'm planning on getting the 5000.

Sound quality has never been noticable for me, its still better then those crap nokia's everyone else uses.
