hello,
i have nokia 7610 and was thinking of getting the sony erricson HBH-600
do you guys think thats a good decision?
I've heard on some web sites that it produces a beeping when you use nokia fones on it that in order to get around you have to turn off softkey beepings and then you are fine.
is this enough to be turned off getting the headset? should i look for another one?
anyone here have a headset that they really like using the nokia 7610?
thankyou for your reply.
after reading the whole forum, i'm still confused which headset i should get.
i heard someone used the motorola hs810 without any problems but then again i also read that the call voice quality wasnt that good unles the headset was in line of sight with the phone.
i dont like the look too much of the hs-4w.
still looking around trying to find what peoples opinion are of different headsets and which ones actually work perfect with the 7610 (apart from nokia ones)
I have the 7610 and just bought the HBH-600. First of all the manual is crap. Secondly my 7610 cannot find the BT when I attempt to pair. Any ideas, suggestions? Pulling my hair out here trying to figure out why its not finding the headset!!! Tried pairing with the headset on and off and no luck.
I fixed the problem. Went to the Sony Ericsson website where they give excellent instructions on how to force the BT into pairing mode. Phone is now connected and seems to work well.
Again, 7610 with the HBH 600

can i ask you a question?
do you get some beeping noises on your headset when using i t with the 7610? is it annoying? i heard that the only way to turn it off is to disble keypad sounds on the 7610
is the headset good to use and do you recommend it?

Yes, you get beeping noises, but it doesn't bother me. Still not sure if the headset is as good as I would like. I've had a few occasions where I got static and couldn't hear the other person well. Happened in a mall. Also tried it driving in a convertable and the other person couldn't hear me well complaining about wind noise. When it works, its fine. I'll need another week before I can give you a better picture.
