What do you think of buying a phone that has been "lightly used" or "in good condition!"
Also, where is the best place to buy a t637 in terms of price and security?
I've looked at the GSM phone Buy/Sell/Trade forum. I've also looked at ebay where they're going for around $180-200 US. Does this sound like a good deal? How can I avoid being scammed? I've read about the western union stuff, so i know to avoid taht.
Are there any other places I should be looking?
I don't think I can get any provider discounts b/c i'm only going to be using the phone during the school year (i'll be using Fido in canada)...i wonder if i can use Fido for 8 months and then like cingular in the US for 4 months with the same phone.
btw, i'm trying to find a t637, not a t630. I'm thinking that i might need the 850 thing for when i'm travelling in the US (on the interstate, etc)...do you think?
I just bought my T637 brand new off of ebay from a guy with the username marbles383, this was after doing A LOT of shopping around for the best price.
it was unlocked and unbranded w/latest firmware
i got it for 300cdn dollars, not too bad if u ask me. There are a few ppl on the BST forums selling it, but they're asking more and most of them are used.
the T630's are typically selling cheaper then the T637's so it all depends on how badly you want the GSM850
I think you should get the T637 just incase down the road you decide to switch to Rogers right here in Canada.
