operator lock

Hi,

I am using S40 with CIngular plan..
I was wondering, about the operator number lock..
I was trying to use other sim card but the phone ask the operator number lock..

Do you have any idea the number is?

Hmm..

If your phone is locked call cingular and ask them for the code

The code varies from phone to phone because it is derived from the phones IMEI (which is different for all phones)

Yes I Called them and asked the operator lock code. THey said I have to wait another month to be able to get the lock code, cause I was still a new customer to cingular.
