Brilliant!
Customers Can Make Their Own Service Plans
In an effort to simplify its mobile phone charges, Orange has revealed that it will allow customers to build their own calling plans, in a menu-style service. New customers signing up for Orange will have individual pricing plans made based upon specific options they select. Customers will be able to dictate how many minutes of usage they will need as well as the number of photo and text messages they plan to receive. In addition, customers can roll over unused minutes to the next month. Orange's existing 12.8 million customers will have the option to remain with the plan they have or create their own plan. Neither. I just thought it was a neat idea.
I imagine that AT&T will soon follow suit with allowing customers to roll over unused minutes like Cingular did just recently. It's only a matter of time for this very popular idea to roll through the carriers.
What are you looking at?!?!?
You're laborers; you should be laboring.
That's what you get for not having an education.
Yeah, thats a pretty good idea. I like the "make your own plan" idea. AT&T kind of did that with their last GSM promotions. You could choose between 3 different promotions. Wish they would offer that again instead of these Charter plans, yuck......

Well, I dunno if Orange still does this, but Orange UK back in the day used to let you choose a tarrif from any other provider and then use that price plan on the Orange network with Orange, but with a 30-pound connection fee I believe.Originally posted by Jay Raptor
