    re-activating a SE47, HELP!

I have a Kyocera SE47 and it hasn't been used in about 4-5 months with Virgin mobile. I called in to get some more time, and they told me my phone was inactive, (duh, that is why I was calling in for more minutes!), any way, since it was inactive for what they call a long amount of time, they said they couldn't re-activate it, and that I would have to buy a new phone. Can I get service through Verizon or another carrier? Can I hack it or something, I'm not paying another $150!

    Thanks, Shane

    1. I would call back and try to get another support person on the phone. I cannot believe that. you are telling me it can sit on the shelf at Target for months and months and not be used and get activatd but heaven forbid you cannt use it for months (leave the country, etc.) after you buy it and use it and then it becomes useless?

    2. there are posts all over this forum about "flashing" a phone over to a new provider like Verizon. just search for them.

Thanks for your reply, I did go through about 10 or so, threads on flashing the SE47, but they were all dead links.

    Thanks anyway, Shane
