Deactivated account...can I sell the phone?

We had a Verizon account that is now deactivated. We still owe them $125. I want to sell the SE47 then just pay the balance using proceeds from the sale.

If I sell the phone, would the buyer have any problems activating it since we still owe them money? Is the ESN linked to our old (disconnected) account?

This may be a dumb question, but I don't want to sell the phone and then end up with a pissed off buyer who can't activate it.

The phone will be blacklisted by Verizon as it has an unpaid balance..Charge the balanace on hte CC and then sell thep hones so you don't risk it
