    T-Mobile SIM Update

Has everyone received the update to their simcard so it displays "T-Mobile" instead of "VStream" or "VoiceStream"? Cause here in the Portland, OR area, I haven't gotten it yet. Nor did the other phone on my plan.

I called customer service regarding the update and got the run around. No one seemed to know anything (2 phone calls - 3 different reps).

Are there any other areas who haven't gotten an update yet?

I got a new voicestream sim card because they didnt have any t-mobile sim cards in yet. In like 5 hours i got 2 sim updates. Now it says TMobile. I had the powertel chip before and it was old so i needed to get a new one. They said by getting a new sim card it speeds up the process.

    Question Sim Update

I have three phones on the family plan in Portland, OR. One phone says T-Mobile and the other two say Voicestream. What is the difference? All three of my sim cards are Voicestream. Is there a difference in the T-Mobile and Voicestream sim cards. Just curious.

Mine switched from "VStream" to "T - Mobile" on Monday night, but I don't know if it's because I activated T-Zones.

    edited to include DFW market

Well I am a dealer out of NYC and this is what I have been seeing:
I have both VoiceStream and T-Mobile cards (all depends on what our Master Dealer sends)
    On R225's I get T-Mobile
    On 3390 I get VoiceStream
On N105 I get either TMobile or VStream

Those are our most sold phones (probably because they are free) so I see them all day long. It doesn't matter what SIM is in them or what phone they are in. I can put a SIM in from a phone that said VStream and on a different phone it say TMobile. I think it's just the phone.

I think its the sim because i have the vstream sim card and got updated to t-mobile and what ever phone i put the sim in it says t-mobile. Even in my 3390 gold that i have had for a year. I put it in my friends T68i that he bought from sonyericsson online and it says tmobile to. The only difference i see is the -. The R225 says TMobile. Nokia T-Mobile.
