    OK, step by step:

I select the envelope icon from the nine icon's on the main screen for Messaging and I get a list called "Message Center" with Message Inbox and the number of message's, MMS Template, Quicknote, ETC,.

I Select Menu again at this list (there is a little Icon at the bottom between the left and right soft keys to let you know that there is another menu layer)and I get the "Message Center Menu's" I noted in the above post.

Sorry, but there is no other layer after the second one in msg's.

    Silly question;
Do you need to subscribe to MMS? I signed up for it, but not t-zones, still can't get it to send/receive MMS's...

    Unhappy Re: Accessing Message Setup

    Hey justaballboy,
    thanx!

I am using a Cingular Razr w/ T-Mobile service, funny how the "GPRS" and the "Roaming" triangle is on all the time, also just below it, the screen still shows "Cingular Wireless", instead of "T-Mobile". Does your screen show such things like the roaming and gprs too?
I seem to get everything working (text msg to other phones), except when I try to send an e-mail to myself (test) it wouldn't go through and a box came up "email message inbox requires setup". Maybe I'm wrong, but how do you send e-mail? If not, do you have a setting for it?

My email msg setup looks like his:

    ISP settings: GPRS
    Email provider: Custom
    Protocol: POP3
    User ID:_______________
    Password:_____________
    Sending Host:___________
    Seding Port: 25
    Receiving Host:___________
    Receiving Port: 110
    Return Address:___________
    Name:___________________
    Cleanup: None
    Save on server: Yes
    Notification: On
    Check new msgs: No
    Hide Fields:________________
    Auto Signature:_____________
    Security:__________________

Question Re: T-Mobile V3 RAZR Settings

I called T-Mobile and went through several people and noone seemed to have any idea how to fix the problem. They referred me to Motorola...same problem...they told me that my problems were a "network dependant" problem, not a phone problem.

Then I remembered a guy that works at my local T-Mobile office. I went by to see him...and...he quickly figured out the problem...I wasn't asking the right questions...He called T-Mobile and told them that he had a phone with incorrect settings...AND they gave him the correct info to fix the problem.

He entered the info into my phone and it seems towork fine now!

    RAZR & T-Mobile

You do not need to go to all of that trouble. If you call t-mobile customer service they have the settings and they can send them OTA (over the air) like a text message to you phone and then you are good to go. I am having no problems with my RAZR and T-Mobile at all.

Thanks so much!!! I owe you a beer!!! I bought my new pink razr on ebay as well as many others. I could do everything but go to the tzones page and send pics. It would always just say unable to send or browser not available.
So I started doing some internet research and began to see things such as MMS. Well I didnt know what that meant and still really dont haha.
Eventually I started to put things together. Like the other guy, I couldnt find the message setup either that people were talking about and then I found you!!!
Thanks so much for helping out the laymen. If ever in Florida I owe you a beer!

Found this thread through google -- I had the same problem with JustABallBoy's method not working. Upon further inspection, I noticed that I had written "wap.myvoicestream.com" instead of the correct "wap.voicestream.com" in my GPRS APN textbox. Removing the offending typo fixed my MMS, as well as the internet. So check your spelling, people. Hope this helps other people coming in through Google and my apologies for the necro.
