Thanks for the tips. Nokia still has by far and away the easiest implementation of t9 I have seen yet. SMS from the late model Nokia phones is extremely efficient and easy to do......Motorola is a nightmare in comparison both due to menu structure and iTap. I like some Moto phones for other reasons but for anyone who does a lot of SMS a Nokia phone if available should def. be a consideration.
Indeed, Nokia is so efficient I enjoy using Nokia t9 more than some full qwerty keyboard phones I have... I also agree with you on the Moto part. I do enjoy some good Moto phones such as the Zine ZN5 and such but iTap is a nightmare... The dictionary on most is awful and does not remember words well and it slows down and you have to push left and right to try and get words as you spell. Nokia is not that way... Nokia T9 works like a dream. You type and if not there you hit spell and bam it remembers it forever. It's so good that if you come from another awful phone OS like moto iTap you'll think its a miracle blessing. I love Nokia too much lol.

Additional questions:
- Can you use T9 in other applications other than the default SMS application like in 3rd party chat apps or in the web browser?
- Is the current implementation for T9 multilingual or single-language?
