I currently am currently with Sprint and I'm having one heck of a time with their customer service.
Anyways, I'm thinking of coming over to Verizon but why is the smartphone data plans so expensive ($29 for 5mbs and $49 for unlimited)? Unlimited vision for Sprint is $20, unlimited mMode for smartphones is $24.99 for ATT. I don't understand.
Help?![]()

Too funny! Are there any retailers you can get discounted Verizon service (i.e. Sprint has Costco)?laughline verizon is the microsoft of phones.

Actually yes, there are quite a few Microsoft products at Costco for a discount.laughline quote:![]()
Then I'm sure Verizon will offer a good "discount" price too... higher than Best Buy, OfficeMax, and AmazonOriginally posted by rkdiddy

(yeah, I wish there was a real discount on Microsoft at Costco, but it is minimal at best and often you can find software priced better elsewhere. Costco is not a price leader on hardware/software. As Sprint is not the market leader, they have to compete on price whereas Verizon doesn't often have to).
Some large companies offer Verizon to their employees at significant discount. Other than that, I don't know a good way to get better prices on Verizon. You may want to ask via a separate thread as others will have more knowledge than I do...
