I'd like to see the GIN / MobileIM bug fixed. It's a known issue, and Verizon said it was a bug in the 'software of the phone' (I'd assume firmware, but maybe just the phone's OS or something, I dunno).

    Nu

Whats the issue there? Do I dare call up C.S., and request a firmware update to get the vib and ring function at the same time?

Yep! The more people that call up and request it, the more chance Verizon will request the update from Audiovox.

I'd like to see 3 things in the next rev. of firmware (in order of importance to me):

    1. Need to be able to remove "Mobile IM" GIN application and other GIN bug fixes.
    2. Vibrate and ring setting
    3. Ability to enable/disable power on/off melody.

That power on/off melody is SO LOUD!! I try to remember to set it to vibrate before shutting the phone off.

No way to edit events in the schedule.
Countdown timer has a 99 min max??

Those are some of my beefs.

What aspects of the event are not editable? I've been able to change date/time, desc, alarm settings...

Yeah, I was going to post the same thing. The scheduler is totally editable.

Some things I would like to see modified:

    > Give the alarm clock a snooze setting(!)
    > Change phonebook so that you can lock access to it and/or ability to block particular numbers from being displayed. Other phones I've had before have had this feature.
    > Quick lock feature. As it is now, you have to push six buttons in order to lock the phone.
    > Would like to see a stopwatch instead of a countdown timer.

I'd have to agree with much of the wishllist posted here:

    1. On/Off sounds. I don't understand the need for the whole singing and dancing routine whenever the phone is turned on or off. When I hit the power button, I'd like the phone to come on (or turn off) as quickly as possible, and with as little fanfare as possible. Just like my old analog phone used to do more than a decade ago.

    2. Scheduler. I'd like the scheduler to be compatible with MS Outlook, so I can sync my calendar.

The loudness of the startup/shutdown tunes depend on the speaker volume. You can also turn off the speaker by holding the side key down.

One thing I noticed about the sounds. They play the complete tune. My Motorola V60i and my LG VX6000 never finished the tunes on startup and shutdown. It was annoying
