it works though it's not the best. checking email over T-zones is not what everybody is looking for I guess. I would have been better if gmail works with inbuild email client......
well, I guess we can't get everything that we want

It;s not checking email with T-zone, it's with built in client.

go to hotpop.com. its a email system that will work with ur built in client. once u make an account u can set it up with ur built in client on ur p900 and u can forward all the mail u want to that account or just use that account as ur own personal email account.

I've been using Gmail with Profimail for some time now since the built in 910a client doesnt support the ssl connection needed to access their site. Nice prog except it DRAINS the battery something terrible and its not push (although you can set it to check every minute like push). Also no mail indicator.

I'm going to look for another push app that will work the way I want.

    Hope this helps someone!

Did you just sign up for the free account? I'd hate to pay for an account that will just forward email to me.

I did get my gmail account to work with the help of dasilva, too, but it's in t-zones like others have said which is annoying. Read one email and then you can't go back to it later. Quite annoying.

    Still no luck...grr

I've tried all sorts of methods to get gmail to appear in the P910a's email client. I did get the email to appear in the t-zones web browser but it's not what I'm looking for.

Then I tried the auto setup pages on the T-Mobile site hoping one of those would solve my problem. Nope.

Then I tried the hotpop method and then forward my gmail email to hotpop. I do receive an SMS message when incoming email is received but I can't get to the email in the email client. I've tried three of the four GPRS connection methods: GPRS-GPRS, T-MobileInternet-GPRS and T-Zones GPRS-GPRS. The only one that gives any type of response (besides a time out) is T-MobileInternet-GPRS and that says "Problem copying messages Activation rejected". Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Can someone with the hotpop/gmail setup help me verify settings? Or someone who actually got their P910a to receive gmail via the built-in client help me out? Thanks!

Hmm, my phone must be retarded. I followed your settings *EXACTLY* yet all I get is a time out and then the SMS comes in (slower than a snail) telling me I have a message. Grrr....Might this be a firmware issue or something else I haven't thought about?

Yeah, might be some stupid setting I don't have correct. Probably need to talk to T-Mobile about this. Thanks for your help, though!
