i thought to work on a mobile phone, it had to start with wap. NOT www.
Anyone knows of another speed test WAP site? Here's one:
I DON'T HAVE A SIGNATURE....SORRY
Not true. The www. is simply part of it's host name, it does not denote what type of content the server at that address will be hosting. As long as the document at www.site.com hosts WAP content, the phone will know.Originally Posted by 6236inewbie

Don't ever trust a Motorola phone.
Cingular user since BellSouth Mobility
I cant get the picture of the radar to display properly using the wap address for the NOAA on my Nokia 6682 using the Nokia/Cingular web browser. Its displays as a tiny unreadable little squrare. If I use the port address it works fine.
If I use Opera Mini with the wap site the radar images display fine.
Anyone else experience this?
Here a couple of my favs
Here's my contribution... some of these have already been mentioned in this topic, but I just copied over the code of the mobile portal page I have on my website that I use for both my phone & Pocket PC.

And thanks for doing so. Here is my contribution to the thread. I took almost all the links that were posted and created my phones homepage.Originally Posted by Tyl3r

So aggrevating to not be able to find loads of sites for WAP. I use Google's WAP Search, but it delivers broken results, and not all WAP related. I am sure that as more of the world start using WAP, this will end my frustration. Anyone remember the world of Netscape 3?
