Alrightie, I was wondering what kinda programs phones use? Like if i wanted to download a ringtone on my friends lg g4010 he could also get it to download even though he choose 4011 as his phone. Could the v220 and the t722 have compatiable ringtones... this is really confusing even for me...

Another question, what about the v400 and the v220???

ok lets take this one question at a time.

as far as programs, there is:
Motorola mobile phone tools (MPT)--ringtones/wallpapers
Midway--java games
p2kman--phone files...be careful using these
PST phone proggramer--flashing and flexing, again, be careful

The best thing to do is read the stickies. this is all discussed on a daily basis, and i dont know of any question you could have that hasnt been answered before.

As far as ringtones, LG phones ihave no idea aobut...as the LG forum.

for the v220/t720, they can both use polyphonic ringtones (chords only, not real MP3 tones)

The v220 CAN use real voice ringers....such as MP3 tones etc. that sound like the real song you hear on the radio.

and about the v400/v220...they are pretty much the same phone that use same ringtones, wallpapers, pretty much everything is the same.
