got my martin fields today... and tried to apply it... butttttt...

well it's my fault really... when i first tried to apply it, ONE tiny lint was stuck in the middle... so i took the protector out, and wanted to wipe that lint away... but found out that the lint was then stuck to the protector, and made a HUGE mistake of trying to wipe it off with my glasses cloth... now the WHOLE protector is full of really tiny lints and it's all smudged... i'm gonna wash it later and try but it doesn't seem like washing it would do as the lint seem to be quite stubornly stuck to the 'adhesive' side... now before i wash it, has anyone tried washing it before and any recommendations? man i don't wonna order another set... it's quite expensive

lg have u ever washed them before? should i use any soap or wotever? i really dunno how to get rid of the lint now

I've honestly never had to clean mine. But I think I read once the best way to clean them is with hand soap and warm water.

You could always send them an e-mail and ask the best way to do it.

I feel your Pain Lord. The same thing happened to me the first time I installed them. What you can do: Wash them with warm water and soap and gently dry them with a blow dryer. Don't get them totally dry though. When there are a few small water droplets go ahead and re-apply it. The water droplets will disappear after a few minutes (at least they did on mine). They are reusable so don't worry.

btw donnation did u have a LOT of lint tho? cuz to me, it seems like the lints are STUCK to the adhesive side, and doesn't seem that they would just come without 'scratching' it... hmm... did u just use fingers to wash them?

Yes Lord, I had a lint problem. I know how frustrating it is. But I re-used mine and I'm telling you that they work perfect.

Had mine sent to the office where everyone has Razors. Everyone sees me trying to separate the protective back from the screen protectors and wants to "volunteer" to help me. Lotsa finger prints everywhere after that. Left them alone until I got home. Used Windex and tried the hair dryer to dry them but found water spots on them after the attempt.

Went back and rewashed them with Windex and water. Towel dried them with a soft cotton towel. Repeated to try and get rid of the lint. Seemed hopeless. Adhesive backing is just a lint magnet. I see lint on them now but have learned to live with it.

Despite their lint problems, they are still an incredible addition to the Razor. I ordered Cell Skins too. It just seems no matter how careful you are, your phone is always at risk and these screen protectors and the Cell Skins seem just the right cheap insurance package you need for an expensive phone like the Razor.
