maybe you should have posted the word GO PHONE COVERAGE MAP. If you read in the corner of the pic, it says go phone national coverage.

The orange is the actual native cingular/att coverage without the roaming aggreements. Although, yes this is the GOPHONE map, this is not the map for the GSM nation plan.
Nope. The orange is both native and non-native coverage. For example, a lot of the KS coverage isn't native. Check out the Cingular KIC map for a real native-coverage map.
That KIC map is scarey
That is true. Alot of the coverage in Kansas (orange and blue) is Western Wireless and Cellular One. A very small portion is T-Mobile.Originally posted by mobilegirl

ok...I didn't realize that. I guess this would be the correct map to the best of my knowledge:

If this is wrong too, please tell us.
I thought this was the new map?

That is the coverage map. We're talking about native coverage - coverage that Cingular owns and operates. Some of the coverage on that map is through roaming partners.
EDIT: The KIC map is actually missing some native coverage in places like Maine, Idaho, Arizona. . . Cingular doesn't seem to be hugely interested in coming out with new maps right now - probably because they know that the word of mouth advertising about the merger is doing a ton more than any new maps would.
