i think it will also, but i did a comparison on phone scoop with the v65p and the vx 4700 and now ill wait for the v65p, it has a few more things i like than the vx 4700 has!!!
I got to play with 2 LG 4700's with the new PTT software a couple weeks ago...I think everyone will be very suprised at how well it works compared to the old PTT.

What did you think of the phone? Quality, Size, Features etc.
1. On the LG, if you have the phone in Vibe, does it Vibe when you get a PTT call?
2. What did you think of the phone? Quality, Size, Features etc.
1. You know what...I didn't even test the vibrate feature out!
2. Before I got to have 1 in my hands...I thought that the phone was UGLY. But after playing with it, it's actually not bad! PTT button is the orange button on top of the phone, and the way the phone is shaped, it fits right in your hand and the button is very conveinent to use. Speakerphone is LOUD, the speaker is right in front...very easy to hear, crystal clear. Size...not bad, anyone that can deal with the 8000 will have NO problem with this phone. All in all I think VZW and LG are on the right track with this phone. And like I said...the new software works very well, night and day difference form the current PTT setup VZW is using now. I just may get a VZW PTT phone down the road when they add more features to it, like EVDO, Camara, etc....sometime this decade? Wishful thinking!

i also held a dummy LG 4700 and it was nicer than i thought, but would rather have the v65p, have you seen that one or used it, or any news on that one??
With the new pricing, if it works well, there should be a good demand for it. Offering the PTT on prepay should raise the PTT customer base also quite a bit. Will know pretty soon it looks like.

KC
so is it the 23rd or 17th like everybody is saying
I just hope Verizon has it right this time around. If they don't they will never be able to do well with ptt in my opinion. I am going to wait and see what people have to say and then decide. My biggest thing is most of the people I work with are only about a year in on a 2 year contract so I would kinda look silly to have PTT and no one to PTT to. Also many of the guys who don't have Verizon have and use Southern Linc PTT. It is very popular where I am and some of the Verizon guys are considering getting Southern Linc instead of re-newing their Verizon contracts. So my decision will be hard: Verizon PTT or one of the new EVDO phones.

YES NEXTEL CAME OUT WITH IT FIRST but alltel and sprints is working great and they do have alot of PTT subscribers!! from what i see! and once verizon re-launches theres it should fall right into that catagory!like i said verizons is working extreamly well, its just not as fast as nextels!! but its fast enough for me!
