Is this for sure? This might be the straw that keeps me with VZW instead of switching to SPCS for RL.
And I know there has been talk about special offers for people who had the original PTT. I had it when it first rolled out, about 3 months later I got rid of it because it sucked. Will I get any kind of incentive to try it again?

In addition to the info above, here's more...
No Roaming - Verizon has signed roaming agreements with
CDMA/Analog carriers nationwide that will eliminate roaming
all together. Your customers will have two options. They
will either have service or they will not. This is a great
selling tool as our coverage will grow and our customers
will not incur any additional cost. Any customer who
activated January 17, 2005 to February 20, 2005 will not
have to renew their contract but they will have to re-sign.
Any customer that signed prior to January 17, 2005 will have
to re-sign and renew their agreement.
I'm extremely disappointed to hear that Verizon will require an Americas Choice calling plan to adopt the push-to-talk add-on feature. You guys do realize that the Americas Choice calling plans offered as of now combined with a $10.00 monthly fee for unlimited PTT isn't a big improvement over the PTT Americas Choice calling plan being offered now.
Check this out.
Current
$69.99 - 500 Anytime Minutes Nationwide
PTT Inclusive
$59.99 - 900 Anytime Minutes Nationwide
Add on push to talk to the 900 anytime minute plan and it equates to $69.99 a month. So aside from receiving 400 additional anytime minutes, the cost is really no different.
I can't believe they will not allow local digital choice plan holders to elect the service. Nextel has a hell of a good deal going on right now for $55 a month.
1000 anytime minutes
unlimited push to talk
nationwide long distance
nationwide calling area
voicemail, 3way, call waiting etc

Verizon once again disappointed me..
Tell me more about Nextel's Family share plan with (2) phones, 500 minutes, IN calling, Unlimited PTT, Free nights & weekends, no roaming charges and a huge coverage area, all for $69.99 a month! Oh yeah, Nextel doesn't offer that, VZW does!

Right now I have 4 lines in an AC Family Share Plan. I may be interested in switching 2 to ptt how would that screw up my current family share plan as far as pricing. I get 2 lines included and pay 10 each for the other 2 lines. Any insight would be appreciated.
Just wanted to let all you ptt fans know that the Lg4700 will not be released on the 21st..The three phones that will are the Kyocera KX444,Motorola t300p,Motorola v65p..Yes the v65p will be available on the 21st..Not sure as to why the 4700 was pushed back..
