Its true nextel came out with it first but they have it on every single line they sell whether you want it or not. If verizon wants to emphasize the PTT feature, there going to have to put it one every line. Do you think the sales people are all going to sell PTT on every line they sell? Even though some people have it, not everyone has it which is the thing here.

remember its going to be a add on for $10.00 a month, if someone wants PTT they will have to get the phone of course!!!

yes and this is why verizons PTT will fail, simply because not every phone has them. Nextel phones are made for DIRECT CONNECT and so just about all of Nextel users have some kind of PTT thing on their phone.
Its basic laws of business, that when Nextel offered pre-pay PTT they already have a huge DIRECT CONNECT PTT network so if you do buy a pre-pay Nextel boost, you CAN at least get your moneys worth and talk to other people, instead of sitting somewhere with your new shinny verizon PTT phone waiting for years before a large enough base has it.
That's why I dont understand, there just not isn't that much demand, nor a big enough network on verizon for this to be any kind of a serious impact anywhere.

But i dont want to pay $10 more a month. Im probaly more like the average customer, if its included Ill use it, if its extra $$ then I probaly wont want to spend $$ on it unless its some super cool thing.

if you remember when it first came out there were thousands had it!! and it failed! and now they are relaunching it better!!! it will do fantastic, just watch

Would explain how me explaning how I am a PTT hater? I am just merely presenting my opinions, and backing them up with some facts. In none of my posts did I say "I HATE PTT". I was just saying that some people who use to have it think its crap - FACT. First impressions are important, I backed that up with my Phychology reasoning - FACT. Oh and it DID suck - FACT. People like you will do anything to make whatever it is that they like look real good. Even if it really did suck, they would find a reason to like it and support it. Another Phycology 101 fact.

you misunderstood!! i did say it sucked when it first came out, remember??? and first impressions are important but i dont think it applies to cell phones, software updates can always take care of problems!! and the latest one makes it nice!!! why dont you ask other people who still have PTT and software ending in .07 and ask them how much better it is from back then!
