    Use "Motorola-Tool"
    Select [Seem 004a]
And then select the "Splash screen" box
    Regards.

According to a conversation I once had with xlr8, that splash image is hard coded into the phone's EEPROM and can't be modified/recalled.

I too love Moto-tool, but in this instance, it may not work since OP's EEPROM has been overwritten with the new flash.

Splash screen is in flash... not in EEPROM.
It has only 3 versions (as far as i know): blue and orange flower... and the blue one with "bubbles"

Where do you think "flashes" or firmware get written to on a phone (or PC, PDA, etc.)?

I agree with NT it must be in the flash, Unless it is "hidden" in some how would it have a hidden attrib. Can anyone "open" a flash and modify it? Maybe with a Hex editor or a c++ editor?
