Sorry, but I have a kinda off topic question. dfabix, how would you say the service is with your 1900 only e398. I have att, and I really like what I've read about this phone, but I don't wanna buy it and then find out that the reception sucks.Originally posted by dfabix

It doesn't matter if you have a V8, V300, V600, or E398. The settings are the same for every phone regardless of the model of handset.

but i've only had my e398 for less than 1 week and reception has been just gr8.....
i live in garden grove and i have clear thru out oc....and whenever im in LA, which is often, reception is gr8 also...
im ooking forward to sooping up the phone a lil more ...
especially getting rid of the god awful ringtones it came with and adding my own.....
im interested in the new skins also....

actually, twebb....
i noticed that those settings are for cingular and NOT TMOBILE...
i'll do a search for the tmo settings, but im on tmo service not cingular....
however,on my phone it shows cingular.....
that's where im confused.....
help?

well if you are a tmobile subscriber then no worries.. they got FREE ROAMING.. so you are roaming on cingular.. .. as far as the settings go.. jsut use the first thread by sticky to set up your mms and wap.. shold be okay..Originally posted by dfabix

nevamind, i just got it to work...
but the mms is still acting up a lil....
says "exceed maximum limit. cannot add new mms server"
what does this mean?

go to <message centre> then hit the menu key to get to <msg centre menu> go down to [message setup] hit enter and that will take you to <message setup> hit enter when you are at [mms message setup]. go down to [server info] and select any one or three to delete. (you only need one whcih you will setup with the browser message. after that do the mms set up again through tmobile. that should do it.

this worked fully....
i deleted all 3 of them, hopefully i wont need them in the future, but in the case that i do, can i retrieve them some how or am i just an idiot and they are now gone....

BTW anyone with t-mobile know how to setup Email? As in the phone logging on by itself and d/l the new messages? I know it can be done but no one seems to know how to do it with tmobile?

Everything else is left alone.
