i was editing my mma files from my v551 to activate the engineering menu and i didn't add the right amount of spaces after "FEM" and i uploaded it to my phone. now the phone locks up everytime it boots up on the start up screen... how can i get my phone back online i need it asap lol

for bootloader mode, powerdown, then hold * and # while you press the power button

I get a devic 0 is in flash mode and cannot be flexed in MultiFlashFlex and an Interface Error when i use pFlex in PST 6.7 ?

i think i might just bring it back to rogers and see if they'll give me a new one. the phone locks so it can't be tested and its been less then 30 days

my bad, i forgot to say that you would need to apply a flash to it. maybe 8.17.15FR, first

I don't think simply flashing would help. U need a monsterpack, the mma files are in the flex. The monsterpack contains a flash and a flex, so if u flash it, u'll have a good flex too. (i don't know where 2 get a monsterpack 4 v551). But there MAY b an alternative: Get the SIM card out and turn the phone on. If it says insert SIM, and doesn't reboot, then u can simply flex it, or, if u have a backup, put the origional files back, or correct the mma files and load those back! If u flex the phone (monsterpack or otherwise) u'll loose all data inclouding contacts...

tried to flash it with the E398 flash but received errors. couldn't flash. **** i dunno what to do. where can i get a monster pack

im gonna get my mss 3.6 up and running again im gettin that stupid hash not found bs. maybe i'll have better luck flashing from there. but i removed the sim and powered up ... got nowhere. just froze. i hope someone gets a monster pack fast. this is the only prob with new phones, **** isn't always available like it was for my 525 and 600

now if i send the phone in for service (im covered for one year) will i have to pay b/c i edited the seems? i have not flashed or flexed the phone. right now the only way u can tell i tampered with the phone is the outside lcd says my name not rogers.... anyway will motorola be able to fix my phone or will they give me a new one
