Best network coverage service provider in Canada

I wonder which category should i put this thread....

    Among the cellphone service provider...

which provider has the best network coverage in whole canada....

and which one has the best service and cheap rate....

as far as i know Fido has 10cents a minute calling to anywhere in canada....

    thanks for input.

    The answer is simple....IT DEPENDS.

    Depends on your usage.
Depends on your location that you frequent.
Depends on your cell's RF reception.

As far as I know, Fido has the cheapest monthly plans, airtime rates and the long distance rates among the all national providers.

    Bimmer,

I think he wants to know who has the best network coverage, not the best pricing plans in Canada. For coverage, it definitely does depend on where you'll be, but Rogers and Bell probably have the most coverage Canada-wide, at least if you go by their coverage maps... Since Fido offers a 15-day MBG, it's probably worth the reader's time to check out Fido's service, but I've found that Fido is definitely not an option for someone who needs to use their phone outside of a major urban centre...

According to the coverage maps, Rogers would be one of the better ones, but I wouldn't go with Rogers. Even with 3-4 bars on my 8260, sound quality is *crap*
And I get quite a lot of dropped calls, even within the city. Lots of static as well. I thought I was in analog mode!! But the phone says I'm in digital...

I think Telus would have the better coverage out of all the other companies. That is if you are living in west side of this country.

Telus in the West and Bell in the East have the best coverage.

Check out the providers' websites for coverage maps.
Also it should be noted that while Telus DOES have the best overall coverage in the west, Rogers has the best digital coverage in the west. In some of the more remote areas, Telus only has analog coverage.
