What are the GPRS settings? I still havent gotten that working.

You need GPRS and WAP setup to use Internet Explorer? Or just GPRS? Or just WAP?

GPRS is different and WAP settings are separated.

    GPRS Settings goto:

    1) Settings > Data Connection > Menu > Edit Connection > GPRS Connections > Menu > Add

    2) Connects to: The Internet

    3) Access point: internet.fido.ca

    4) Username: fido

    5) Password: fido

    6) NS1: 204.92.15.211
    NS2: 204.92.15.212

    7) Done

Those above are the settings for GPRS.

Anyone know how to setup Fido's WAP settings?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; 640x480))

do u know how I can test it. I just notice MMS settings are same as WAP. Also, when I try to use IE to connect using WAP network, it doesn't work.

Actually what I don't understand is how WAP settings work, because I can broswe WAP pages with just Internet alone.

Can you give me a brief description on how WAP works and what is it for?

Actually I don't know where the APN for WAP and MMS settings goes on the MPx220. I can't seem to find anything relate to it.

Looking at those information alone, we won't know the problem.

The rest of the settings I put are what you guys posted above.

The error I get in Internet Explorer is:
"Unable to connect. Verify you have network coverage and try again."

You not connected to the Internet. Probably your GPRS settings is wrong.

I tried every combination of settings that have been posted here.

Do I need to call and get a data option added to my plan for internet explorer to work? WAP worked on my T237 so I dunno.

I used to live in the U.S., and thus had the T509 with T-Mobile. I like the phone very much. Now, I live in Canada, and would like to use Fido. I already have a SIM card (and account) with Fido. The SIM card is in the phone. I can call and receive calls, but I can't use the mobile internet feature. It's still locked to T-Zones. Can I change this?

Please help. I'm familiar with the *#87927# to change WAP settings. What do I do? What are Fido's settings? Please help.

    Thank you!
